ReplyDeleteToday I walk in expecting to pick up a worksheet, but instead i arrived with an ice cold seat. As i started to take notes I over hear a boiling arguement over superheroes. Batman sucks, Spiderman is the only one with super powers, but i digress. Mr. Becker then asks who is ready to discuss thesis statements abd topic sentences. He then states that he is "worried about us", because we cannot focus. I am too concerned for my class, but I then discovered that we do work well just come of us are slackers. He tells us the due dates for our Cosmogony essays and I mumble to myself that the due date for the final copy is due on my best friend's birthday, kind of stressful, but i shall continue on. As usual we must submit our essay to turnitin.com, and as usual people question the ability of the website. Just submit it and hush, i said to myself, let the website do its work. Next to me, Taylor says she has a terrible headache, and I am guessing that as this hour goes on, the pain will increase. She finally asks to go see the nurse. Mr. Becker then asks "Who's first?", and Miles' head pops up with joy, but he looks around for another volunteer but he does not see one, so he heads over to Mr. Becker's desk. As Miles and Mr. Becker converse, the faint sound of iPod music begins. I look around to see what my fellow classmates are up to. I see Matt stroking his beard for a thought and everyone else whispering to one another or chewing on their nails. I'm timid about going to Mr. Becker's desk so that he can check my work, for I am not a very creative writer, but it turned out to be very reassuring. A line has been formed to leave for the bathroom but then dies down once Taylor arrives, back from the nurse. I guess i will add myself to the list, for i have had a lot to drink today. Then comes the awkward situation as to who will go to Mr. Becker next. It is a battle between Matt and Sam. Sam makes his move, but Matt is much closer and steals his spot. With his sadface on, Sam retreats to his desk. My classmates go up to see Mr. Becker, someone of then once, the wise ones twice. This remains to be the routine for the rest of the hour. This shall be the end of my Sript for today, so until this time..Have a wonderful day!
