I strolled into class more tired than usual, a statement that carries significant weight, considering my usual, undead demeanor. However, I felt a calm ambition in regards to providing m take on the class period's events. Litte did I know my hopes and dreams were naively rested within the crosshairs of fate, soon to be obliterated by yesterday's overwhelming rendition of what I clearly mistook for a standard class.
Struck with a potent, synergetic mix of dread and vigor, I quickly went to work on the assignment I had so grossly underestimated. Predictably, that conviction was nothing but a memory when I found myself engrossed in a conversation about automotive audio systems. Admittedly, I allowed the conversation to ramble through Mr. Becker's reminder of his awkward, yet effective system of classroom crowd control and his introduction of "The Bell of Excellence".
When I looked up from my ravaged notebook, I noticed that surprisingly, the ENTIRETY of the class appeared to be fully concentrated on schoolwork, not to mention relevant schoolwork. Almost disturbed by this utopian image, I was refreshed to discover Zach in the corner, pantomiming some grievance in what I couldn't even confirm as English. Ironicly, I later found it to be Spanish.
Later on, I fell victim to my own hesitance, as I surrendered an opportunity to remove the burden of my obliged conference with Mr. Becker regarding quote embedding. With the first sign of life, almost like the dawn of a new day, the class was officially over.

  2. Lucy Kicked off the day with some scribe but still all i could think about was work at five. After that the class applauds and every one focuses in on the paper due towards the end of the hour. Kids are striving to get that 13/10 for a couple extra points. Mr. Becker then begins to check students work for perfection. If the papers are not perfected they must be corrected and not niglected. The class stays silent throughout the hour going up to Mr. Beckers desk with corrected errors. DING! Someone has a perfect paper! As the bell sounds all attention was on that person who has talent in embeding quotes. DING! Another one! I was beginning to feel left out. DING! Oh, that was the bell to third hour. All the students gathered their belongings and exited the room quietly heading to their next class.
