  1. Nathan Curtright, 6th Hour
As I sat there listening to the grandest attempt at immitating one of my amazing scribe notes, I wondered if i had the scribe notes of that day. It turns out that I did indeed. As I insulted Taylor under my breath for overlooking telling me about my scribe notes, I figured I should get to work on being a scribe for the day. My sour feelings soon subsided as we moved on to beginning the class for the day.Taylor lost her Journey Journal (which I will so wittingly call a JJ for now on). As I chuckled in my head at the sweet satisfaction of the random vengeance Mr. Becker blabbed about how he didn't desire to look at our JJs until we had finished the epic we were reading about Gilgamesh. We moved on to actually talking about what had happened on Gilgamesh's journey to see Unighakjsdhthsdtjh, the man who had survived the Flood. We talked about the belly of the whale. We also talked about the father and his being atoned with. Ofcourse, we had to discuss Scorpion Centaurs. Near the end of our discussion, we all took turns repeating facts or statements that had previously been spoken of in our discussion. When finished, we were commanded to read chapters 7 and 8 of the epic of Gilgamesh. As I read these chapters, I noticed the great similarity that Gilgamesh's flood had with the Judeo-Christian flood. It was astonishing actually. I then finished my task and thought up this great conclusion: eternal life is gained, not only by great deeds or large statues, but by wisdom and knowledge. This i see fit, due to the fact that those with a great deal of these things are greatly respected, and have gained immortality with thier loved ones and what they have taught them. So... I later came up with this poem for this conclusion:

The axe of blood is a powerful thing,
Yet the minds thoughts are of more to sing.
More riches can these thoughts bring,
As many learn from the wise old king.

Banish the traditions of the warrior ways.
Cling to the thoughts of the wise's days.
Clear out the scene, break through the haze.
The immortal to these sayings stays.

Knowledge is the key to the door way of life.
Narrow this door that seems filled with strife.
The way of the stupid will only be a knife.
    Cutting its way.
    Ruining your day.
    This all I say.
    This all i stay.
    If I may.
Few see the way to life.
So let me strive to make that way,
    A little more visable...
    Knowlege is power.
    Wisdom is life.
    And on this hour.
    You stop driving the knife.
    YAY.
