  1. Michael P., 2nd Hour

I briskly walked from my locker to our beloved room 121, late, but with good reason. Just before 2nd hour, I was outside watching a science experiment, resulting in a massive explosion. I arrived at the door only to find that the class was being held in the library today. So I hustled to the library to find that I hadn’t missed much. The class was in a state of array when I entered. Students were scattered in groups throughout the room, each talking well above the appropriate library volume level. I notified Mr. Becker of my tardy arrival, to which he replied in a stress lined voice that he hadn’t even taken attendance yet. The students proceeded to complete their heroes’ Facebook pages, exponentially increasing the volume all the while. After conversations of adding photos and info to slideshows – at alarming decibel levels – class started to wrap up. As the bell ringing came near, the only person lining up at the door was Mr. Becker himself. The hour ended. Students shuffled through the halls. Third hour began. The day continued, but no class was quite as exciting as 2nd hour.
