ReplyDeleteThe day started like a normal Monday coming back from break, it seemed more groggy and less movement was occurring. Mr. Becker opens about the goals we set at the beginning of last quarter. Then some how we started an argument about mud? I don’t know where it cam eabout, I wasn’t listening but whatever. As mr.becker scurried to find if we met our goals a short period of small talk went on. Me personally was day dreaming about about something, I don’t remember then I heard a large claim from Rachel of how warm the classroom was today and how “toasty” her chair was. We all then noticed mr. beckers new slick hair cut. Small talk continued until we found out if we met our goal.. WE FAILED! Apparently 17.2 % were zeros, not very good… then we discussed how we should change our goal. Some suggested an average grade for the class while others wanted to keep the simple % of zeroes in the class. A debate went on and we decided to keep the percents but we wanted to raise it, Mr. Becker would not go past 13%, it was a tough debate but we then decided on 12. Becker then exclaimed we would be getting our papers back(yay). He told us people like to throw away his papars that he grades so we did a review thing on how well we thought we did. Then for some odd reason he picked miles out of all people to get the papers from he writing lab. Few of the students were heart broken but they lived. While miles was getting the papers we noticed how cool Mr. Beckers Zoo cup was. When miles returned anticipation floated through the air… the papers got handed abck and we worked quietly on our review things until the bell rang.
